3-D Conformal Radiotherapy
Conformal radiation therapy is a three-dimensional computer-guided therapy that can deliver higher doses of radiation to very precise locations within the body.
These higher
doses have not only led to excellent cure rates in early stage cancers,
but also much improved cure rates in patients with locally advanced
cancers, many of whom are considered "incurable" by surgery.
Using advanced planning and delivery techniques, we target the radiation
to the tumor while avoiding the adjacent organs.
