An Experienced, Tightly Integrated Team

The Maddock Center has a comprehensive team of cancer care professionals committed to addressing both the medical and the psychosocial needs of cancer patients and their families. Many have been working at the Maddock Center for more than ten years, so we are practiced at providing the most appropriate treatment. We have the lowest staff turnover in the Northeast. Additionally, we have the highest therapist-to-patient ratio in the region, allowing us to provide highly personalized care.

To get your treatment underway as quickly as possible, our staff includes not only three radiation oncologists, but also two radiation physicists and a board-certified dosimetrist. Our Chief Physicist has a Ph.D. and is a board-certified by the American Board of Medical Physics. Our 2nd Physicist has two Master’s degrees in Physics and Radiological Sciences. Having a fully staffed internal Physics Department at our practice permits us to provide dosimetry and treatment planning on site, ensuring accurate and high-quality treatment planning. (We never send our treatment plans out-of-state.) Our clinical staff also includes a fulltime Internist and eight radiation therapists.

Additionally, our technical support and administrative staff members are skilled, friendly health care administration professionals who assist patients from their initial phone call to scheduling follow up appointments and processing insurance claims.
